Washington Dulles (IAD). Lufthansa flight LH418 approaches Runway 19L arriving from Frankfurt am Main (FRA) in low cloud after a January rainstorm.

This aircraft is still wearing Lufthansa’s ‘yellow crane’ livery which has featured on all Lufthansa liveries since 1967, including this scheme which rolled out in 1989. In 2018 Lufthansa introduced a new livery replacing yellow with dark blue.
