Aeroméxico (AM) XA-ADL B787-9 [cn43859] Quetzalcóatl Livery
New York Kennedy (JFK). Aeroméxico flight AM409 to Mexico City Lic. Benito Juarez (MEX) taxis to the runway through a busy JFK ramp on a damp and dingy November afternoon.
This special livery celebrates the inaugural B787-9 Dreamliner joining the Aeromexico fleet in September 2016. The design was chosen from a competition of 400 submissions and is named Quetzalcóatl ("Feathered Serpent") after one of the principal deities of pre-Hispanic Mexico.
