New York Kennedy (JFK). Aer Lingus flight EI111 taxis to the gate after arriving from Shannon (SNN) on damp and dingy November afternoon. In January 2019 Aer Lingus introduced a new livery, replacing this all-green scheme introduced in the late 1990’s. All aircraft in the fleet are expected to be re-painted by end 2021.
This vintage airframe was 26.5 years old at the time of this photograph and had been in service with Aer Lingus since 2016.
